Never heard of
a high school baccalaureate service before?
You're in good company!

Baccalaureate is just a big word for a Christian service that honors graduating high school seniors.  It is a way of getting the senior class together so they can receive prayer and a blessing before they graduate and go out into the world.

The Romeo Baccalaureate Committee works hard to make this service not only something to bless our seniors, but an exciting service they want to attend!  With help from community members and the youth pastors/leaders on our committee, we organize the service with the 2022 senior in mind.  This year that means:

Yes, we plan a baccalaureate service to honor and bless our amazing seniors. But that's not the biggest reason we do it. We want to make sure we pray for and bless our seniors as they prepare to go out into the world. We want to make sure they hear a message from a godly speaker who will encourage them as they get ready to begin an exciting future.
That's why we do it.
Seniors, feel free to invite parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends...anyone who is important to you. We want to celebrate you while you're surrounded by people who love you!
So, mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 6th at 7:00 p.m.  and we'll see you at Barnabo!
