What do graduating seniors wear? Seniors should wear their caps, gowns, and honor cords/stoles and arrive no later than 6:45pm.
Who can attend baccalaureate? We invite all Romeo High School graduating seniors, plus their families and guests, to attend baccalaureate. Feel free to bring parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends...we want our seniors surrounded by people who love them. And if you're a RCS staff member or a community member who wants to support the students, you're welcome as well!
Do we have to be Christians or belong to a church to attend? No. All graduating senior and their families and guests are welcome, regardless of your religious affiliation. Or even if you have no religious affiliation at all.
What if it's raining on the day of baccalaureate? We'll hold baccalaureate in the RHS gym.
Who sponsors baccalaureate? Because public schools can no longer sponsor any type of religious service, it's up to private groups like the Romeo Baccalaurate Committee to
take charge of organizing baccalaurate services. The baccalaureate committee is made up of RHS parents as well as local pastors, youth leaders, and church members. In conjuction with the RHS Christian club Fellowship for Christ, we work hard to make baccalaureate a service that will bless our graduating seniors.
I have some other questions. How can I contact you? Just click on our Contact Us page and submit your question. Or if you'd like to speak with someone in person, please leave your name and number on our Contact Us page, and a member of the baccalaureate committee will get back to you.
